Easy check-in, comfortable bed/room, plenty of great food options, one of the better hotel gyms I have used, and a friendly staff.

very large room with high ceilings and contemporary layout and furniture. Location in the heart of Gaslamp quarter was the added bonus with plenty of classical and funcky eating places around. It was a walking distance to the convention center and the walk through the downtown was enjoyable. Additionally, the staff was super friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at the Pendry. Our room on the 11th floor was beautiful with lots of lovely touches. It was absolutely spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They upgraded our room as well because of it being our honeymoon and turned up with some little chocolates which was so nice. The staff were really helpful and location was great in the GasLamp quarter. The pool and jacuzzi were great too. Would highly recommend!!

Lovely boutique style hotel. Front desk staff are excellent especially the Concierge Vito who was superb. The restaurant staff were nice but a little unfocused. Food was tasty but expensive. Pool area was really nice, but there’s a definite shortage of beds and very annoyingly there’s a load of empty beds all the time with reserved signs on. This is infuriating as hotel residents. The staff did not handle this well, but eventually we did get bad each day.

We enjoyed the pool but wish there was more shade. Also the loud concert outside bothered me when I tried to sleep. But the hotel was fantastic and the location can’t be beat. I will stay here again!
